A quick disclosure. This is Design Shifu's own comparison, so we're not neutral. To keep it fair, every fact about Digital Polo comes from its own pricing page and refund policy, checked on 20 October 2026. Where Digital Polo does something better, we say so.
Design Shifu vs Digital Polo at a glance
How do the prices compare?
Digital Polo is the cheaper way in. Its Partner plan costs $399 a month, $150 less than Design Shifu's Starter at $549. There are no promos or add-on fees, and Digital Polo says the monthly fee is the only charge.
The gap narrows once you look at what's included. Digital Polo's Partner plan works on one task at a time with 48-hour delivery. Its faster plan, Soulmate, costs $899 a month for 24-hour priority delivery, parallel tasks and a dedicated team.
Design Shifu's plans step up more gradually: $549, $749 and $1,099 a month. Every plan gets 24-hour first drafts and a two-designer team. And unlike Digital Polo, Design Shifu offers annual billing, which brings Starter down to $458 a month.
If budget is the only thing that matters and you're happy to wait two days per task, Digital Polo's Partner plan is the cheapest option of the two. If you want 24-hour turnaround and a team, Design Shifu's $549 Starter costs less than Digital Polo's $899 Soulmate.
What do you get on each?
Digital Polo

Both Digital Polo plans include unlimited tasks and revisions, print-ready CMYK and Pantone files, white-label reseller rights, and all source files in AI, EPS, PSD, PDF and Figma formats. You send requests by email or through your project management tool. There's no limit on the number of brands.
The Soulmate plan adds a dedicated team with 24×7 support, illustration and complex drawings, parallel tasks and formal IP transfer paperwork.
Digital Polo's site covers a wide range of graphic design, plus website, UI/UX and presentation design. We didn't find video or motion design anywhere on it.
Design Shifu

Every Design Shifu plan includes two designers, an account manager, unlimited revisions, source files and full ownership of the designs. Presentation decks and GIFs are included from Starter. Growth adds custom illustrations, UI/UX and email templates, and Scale adds motion design and animation. Agencies get white-label dashboards, multi-client management and reseller discounts.
Which is faster?
On the entry plans, Design Shifu is twice as fast. Design Shifu delivers first drafts within 24 hours on every plan, and most requests come back within one business day, Monday to Saturday. Digital Polo's Partner plan promises 48-hour delivery and finishes one task before starting the next. To get 24-hour delivery from Digital Polo, you need the $899 Soulmate plan.
Refunds, cancelling and pausing
Refunds. Digital Polo has a 7-day money-back guarantee. Its refund policy says refunds are given within 7 days of signing up, with no questions or conditions, and paid within 48 hours. After 7 days, refund requests are denied. Design Shifu offers a 14-day money-back guarantee, which gives you twice as long to test the service.
Cancelling. Both have no contract and let you cancel anytime. With Digital Polo, you keep using the service until the end of your prepaid month. With Design Shifu, your files stay in your account after you cancel, and you can reactivate with the same email whenever you need us again.
Pausing. Digital Polo's pricing page advertises "pause or cancel anytime", although its refund policy and terms don't mention pausing. Design Shifu doesn't offer pausing: you cancel when you don't need us, and pick up where you left off when you do.
What do customers say?
We couldn't find independent reviews of Digital Polo's design service. It has no Trustpilot profile, and we didn't find a G2 listing. Digital Polo's own site says it's rated 4.8/5 from more than 50 reviews and has served 185 clients, but it doesn't link to where those reviews are. Without independent reviews, it's worth asking Digital Polo for client references before you sign up.
Which should you choose?
Choose Digital Polo if you…
- want the lowest monthly price ($399)
- send mostly simple graphic design tasks and can wait 48 hours for each
- want CMYK and Pantone print-ready files spelled out as standard
- are an agency that wants reseller rights at the lowest cost
Choose Design Shifu if you…
- want first drafts in 24 hours without paying for a premium plan
- want two designers and an account manager from day one
- need motion, animation, illustration or UI/UX as your needs grow
- want a longer, 14-day window to try the service risk-free
- want a lower rate with annual billing
Conclusion
Digital Polo is a lean, low-cost design subscription. At $399 a month, it's one of the cheapest in the category, and it includes source files and reseller rights. The trade-off is speed and capacity: one task at a time, with 48-hour delivery, unless you step up to $899.
Design Shifu costs $150 more at the entry level. For that, you get 24-hour first drafts, a two-designer team, more services as you grow and a longer money-back window. See Design Shifu's plans, which start at $549 a month. You can also compare us with Kapa99, ManyPixels and Flocksy.
