Creative Director

About the Role

We are looking for a Creative Director who can lead visual strategy, raise creative standards, and build a strong design culture inside Design Shifu. This role is not just about creating great visuals. It is about setting direction, maintaining quality, mentoring designers, and ensuring every piece of work aligns with our clients’ business goals. You will be responsible for shaping our creative vision and ensuring consistent, scalable output across multiple client accounts.

What You’ll Do

• Define and elevate the overall creative direction of Design Shifu
• Review and approve design work across branding, web, social, ads, and marketing assets
• Maintain high visual and conceptual standards
• Translate client business goals into clear creative direction
• Mentor and guide designers through feedback and structured critique
• Build scalable design systems and internal quality benchmarks
• Collaborate with client success and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Ensure consistency across client projects and internal brand assets

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in graphic design, branding, or creative leadership
• Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking and visual excellence
• Experience working with agencies or B2B brands
• Deep understanding of typography, layout, color systems, and brand strategy
• Ability to give constructive, structured feedback
• Strong communication skills - English
• Experience managing or mentoring a design team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, subscription-based service model
• Nice to have:
  
  • Experience working with US, UK, or Australian clients
  • Background in SaaS, tech, or digital agencies
  • Experience building design systems
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles
